Iris Hit-Shagir
President
Iris Hit-Shagir is the president of SVB Analytics, a wholly owned subsidiary of SVB Financial Group. SVB Analytics provides solutions to analytical problems that are specific to emerging growth technology, life science and venture capital companies. In that regard, SVB Analytics is rendering valuation opinions for clients to help them comply with IRC 409A, FAS 123R, FAS 141 and delivering capitalization and options management solutions through the firm's controlling stake in eProsper, Inc.
Hit-Shagir joined SVB Financial Group in 2005 as an IT senior director for business collaboration, and later became the company’s chief information officer and the head of the Project Office. In that capacity she was responsible for the company’s project mgmt, IT strategy, execution and staff.
Prior to joining SVB, Hit-Shagir spent the majority of her career with technology companies, building her technical and operational expertise. As acting president/CEO of Netliant, an infrastructure planning and design firm, where she also served as its vice president of customer operations, she managed all production and operational activities for the company. Hit-Shagir has also worked for workforce automation firm, Viryanet, in Boston and Israel, IBM, Cheshev Digitix, the Israeli Armed Forces and the Israeli Blind Institute.
Hit-Shagir earned an electrical engineering degree at the Israel Insitute of Technology and also studied at Hebrew University, Tel-Aviv University and UC Santa Cruz.
